Cookie policy
Forecry uses two kinds of browser storage. The first kind is required for the site to function. The second kind — analytics — only runs after you click Accept on the banner.
Strictly necessary
These keep you signed in and remember your consent choice. They run regardless of whether you accept analytics, because the site would not work without them.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you signed in after you log into the dashboard. | First-party HTTP-only cookie | Up to 30 days; cleared on sign-out. |
| forecry_cookie_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics so the banner doesn't reappear. | First-party localStorage entry | Until you clear site data or change your choice. |
Analytics (only if you accept)
These run only after you click Accept on the banner. They do not identify you personally and do not follow you across other sites. If you click Reject, none of these run.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plausible Analytics | Anonymous, aggregate page-view counts (which pages, which referrers, which countries). No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking. | Cookieless script (no browser storage) | Aggregates only; no individual visitor record is kept. |
Changing your choice
To change a previous Accept or Reject, clear the forecry_cookie_consent entry from your browser's site-data storage for forecry.com. On your next visit the banner will reappear and you can choose again.
You can also clear all Forecry browser data from your dashboard settings if you are signed in.
